About 6 months ago, our office management team came up with a weight loss challenge! We encouraged our staff to watch their diet and keep track of the results. Most of them are anonymously reporting the results. A few are keeping track of their results without reporting. The environment is extremely supportive. At our annual staff meeting the cumulative results were announced! So far we have lost a total of 200 pounds! Yeah! Needless to say, we are all inspired by this. Each person has a chance to decide how to lose the weight whether it is LCHF (they know LCHF better than most medical offices
) or through weight watchers. We are not officially keeping track of who is doing which plan. But I will say this, several have come up to me to tell me their personal results and which method they are using. Anecdotally, LCHF is winning hands down. I am so proud of them!
One of the new things we are doing is keeping the heavy whipping cream near the coffee machine (refrigerated). It is definitely ok to drink a cup or 2 of coffee each day. You really should avoid adding sugar. Instead try some of the heavy whipping cream! It tastes delicious AND it give you some normal dietary saturated fat. This will keep you from getting hungry and give you some healthy calories for fuel! We are going through heavy cream rather quickly so it is a favorite!
